SOME SIG: Patient Safety Education (some-pse)

SIG Mission Statement:
To increase patient safety knowledge,
skills and attitudes by integrating patient
safety education throughout osteopathic
medical education
Within the above mission, what specific objectives can best be accomplished
by collaborative efforts:
- Create PS objectives appropriate for each level of OME
- Formulate a tentative plan to integrate
Specific Goals to be Accomplished:
- Securing Dean support on PS content
- Provide an outline for PS content for pre-clinical, clinical, GME, CME
- Identify current resources (e.g. Train-the-Trainer)
Initial action steps to be taken:
- Set up an email list
- Invitation to other COMs
